Three Old Dominion football players, including two from the Peninsula District, received All-Championship Subdivision preseason honorable mention.
They were punter Jonathan Plisco from Woodside High, kick returner Colby Goodwyn from Phoebus High and quarterback Thomas DeMarco.

William and Mary has signed 5-foot-9 small forward Jazmen Boone of Virginia Beach to the Tribe?s recruiting class, joining three McDonald?s All-American nominees from the fall: 5-5 point guard Anna Kestler of Pittsburgh, 5-11 guard Kyla Kerstetter of Brentwood, Tenn., and 6-4 center Mackenzie Morrison of Norwalk, Iowa.
Boone scored 15 points and eight rebounds in the state Group AAA championship game for Princess Anne (31-1) and won two titles with the Cavaliers.
?Jazmen?s defensive intensity, competitiveness and toughness on the boards really stood out towards the end of the season.? W&M coach Debbie Taylor said.
